Eclipse watch
« on: August 21, 2017, 10:38:15 AM »
We are having a full eclipse today in Nashville around 1:30 pm. I will be using my uncle's welding helmet to watch it. Another eclipse is said to swing across America in 7 years, making an X pattern with this current eclipse, the X cross over center being in Missouri.

I was outside working on my car, didn't notice a thing. An hour of total darkness in mid-afternoon could have been useful for raiding some bins.

Neat! Up here it was about the same as a hazy day - not very noticeable. I think I'll have a better view in seven years.
