what to do with this fan

last night while out dumpster diving I found a new fan but its missing the front cover

any thoughts of what to do or how to fix it

other than using it as a auto kid spanker jk lol

Take and cut a piece of small squared hardware cloth and screw it on over the front of the fan. It won't be all that pretty but, should work and will be safe.

How large is it? Is it a box fan?

You could always put some wire mesh over it. Animal cages can be cut to fit, cleaned and repainted.

fans will run without the cover. i use in a non kid area. several of the fans i have stoped then when I cleaned / tested worked without cover but not with it on. just dont put it by the bed if you are sleeping , nor let kids or kittens near.

Its a small round fan

I like the thought of using a cage from the trams tep dumpster
